Workshop Description

Come and join us on this Spring workshop which takes advantage of the seasonal flora, light and colours at Walker Fold. Many of you will have cameras with functions, buttons, dials and symbols, but you’re not sure what to do with them! Some of you may have mastered these things, but would like to progress further with your photography. We (Nigel & Jo) will help you get to know your camera better and help you on your way to capturing great images. We keep to small groups of up to 8 people so that we can give you attention and answer your questions as we go along. What you will learn: • Composition • Aperture • Focusing • Exposure There will be a chance partway through to buy a drink and snack at The Coffee Box (not included in price) and review and chat about what we have achieved so far. We can then continue to expand on those skills you’ve learned on the final part of the workshop. For every booking we will donate 10% to the Woodland Trust to help with the essential conservation work they do in our community on the Smithills Estate.
