BEGINNERS' WORKSHOPS AT BARROW BRIDGE

Working in partnership with the Woodland Trust at the Smithills Estate, this workshop takes in some of the beautiful scenery at Barrow Bridge.

As well as learning about your camera's controls and when to use what buttons and settings, you will learn the techniques and skills of landscape photography. It will include late Autumn woodland scenes, rivers and will conclude with a panoramic view.

This is a great chance for you to start your journey in landscape photography in a small group setting, guided by two instructors who will help you along the way.

BEGINNERS' WORKSHOPS AT MOSS BANK PARK

Date: Saturday 9th October 2021

 

Price: £45 

 

So you've got a camera with buttons, dials and symbols and you don't know what to do with them? This workshop looks at getting to know your camera and will start you off on your way to capturing great images. 
 

What you will learn:
 

  • Composition

  • Aperture

  • Focusing

  • Exposure

A visit to the park cafe part way through (not included in price) will give us the chance to review and chat about what we have achieved so far before continuing to expand on those skills.

BEGINNERS' WORKSHOPS AT ENTWISTLE

Date: Saturday 13th November 2021

Price: £45

This workshop takes in the beautiful scenery around one of the reservoirs in the West Pennine Moors and is suitable for all levels of mobility. 
You will learn about composition, focusing, exposure, as well as getting to know your camera better.

Duration: 3 hours  Start Time: 1:45pm Terrain: Easy. (2 1/2 miles walking)
